The Neurosurgeon
Duties and responsibilities:Neurosurgery, or neurological surgery, is the medical specialty concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, surgical treatment, and rehabilitation of disorders which affect any portion of the nervous system including the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and extra-cranial cerebrovascular system.  They treat patients with complex disorders of the nervous system such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease
Salary:$395,000
Education:
  • Four years of pre-medical education at a college or university
  • Four years of medical school resulting in an M.D. or D.O. degree
  • One year internship in general surgery
  • Five to seven years in a neurosurgery residency program
  • Some neurosurgeons complete a fellowship after residency to specialize in a particular area
  • Continuing education — annual meetings, conferences, scientific journals, research — to keep up with advances made in the complex field of neurosurgery
Demand or need for this profession:This is a job that is really needed because they help patients. They prevent them from having any other bad thing with surgery. They are professionals that are needed and very helpful.

Reflection: Yes i would like to be one, it takes so much to become this but it is worth it not only because of the high pay but also because you help people.
