The Ten Indian commandments

Reflection: Overall what these are rules indians have set for their own and they must follow them. These aren’t just commandments indians should go by but also everyone else because all these commandments help a human being become a better person. These things help people get along and treat each other with respect and never solve anything aggressively. This is possible and if you give them a try you’ll see how everyone will treat you how you want to be treated. Wouldn’t you want to feel safe and around people who are good ? For example let’s say say curch. Every church introduces it’s rules and we must follow them and set an example to others and demonstrate that we can be good . Or when you’re home or with friends you feel comfortable and safe with them but it’s all because you know how to behave and be a good person. These are great ways to start being a good person.

What this quote is trying to say is that you must always be honest with everyone no matter what. Honesty is what shows who you are as a person. You should always keep your word. Being honest is easier than lying. You will feel good. Have you ever lied and felt nothing but guilt? That feeling is the worse because it’s always going to haunt you. You should always hurt people with the truth and never with a lie.  So if you can’t keep a promise don’t even put anyone’s hopes up. You cannot make a promise on something that you are not in control of. Keeping promises is very important because it is a basis of trust. Keeping our word is essential if we want to be a person of integrity. You should never let anyone down after you’ve made a promise. You should always try your hardest and you’ll see how good you’ll feel when you do good.

Orthopedic surgeon

Duties and responsibilities:An orthopaedic surgeon is a physician devoted to the diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of injuries, disorders and diseases of the body’s musculoskeletal system. This system includes bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, nerves and tendons. An orthopaedic surgeon treats many musculoskeletal conditions without surgery, by using medications, exercise and other rehabilitative or alternative therapies. If necessary, he/she may also recommend surgical treatment if the patient does not respond to other treatments.

Reflection: I would like to be an orthopedic surgeon. This job is part of the medical field therefore it interest me and they operate which is very interesting to me.

What this quote is trying to say is that being good will pay off. Not by people giving you something in return but you’ll feel peace and happy. I mean who wouldn’t want that?

Doing good will bless your life and what an amazing feeling knowing that you help others be happy as well. You don’t need to buy something to considered good . It’s all about your personality. It’s the little things that count such as being polite, respectful, saying thank you, helping someone with their grocery bags. When people see the good in you , you earn trust and respect. You might even become someone’s role model and they’ll be like “ i want to be like them”. Being good is a choice but i can guarantee that it’s the best choice you can ever make because it will bring great blessing to your life. For example when i grow up i want to help those in need. I would like to give people food and have little jobs with them so they can earn money and become independent and show them that they can do it.

Orthodontist

Duties and responsibilities: Orthodontics, a specialty within the dental profession, involves straightening teeth and correcting bites. As an orthodontist, you are responsible for locating problems with the positioning of patients' teeth and with their oral development. You might use x-rays or plaster molds of your patients' teeth to do this. They provide patients with retainers or add braces or space maintainers.

Demand need Need for this profession: This profession is very important because a better smile makes people more confident and thanks to them we can get it.  It is expected that the job growth will be 18%

Reflection: No i would not like to be an orthodontist because it just doesn’t catch my attention although they do a great job. I’ve been to one and their job seems cool but i just don’t see myself in this particular profession.

What this quote is trying to say is that decisions are taken because of what society think or not because it comes at a price. This quote comes from a an American priest of the congregation of holy cross. Every choice you make must run through your mind and you must think twice before making a choice. Our choices mark our life. Choosing the right will bring great blessings to your life. So why choose the right if you know that doing what is right is better? Don’t ever be selfish and do what work for you. Don’t find the easy way out of things. If you don’t want to end up in a bad path don’t do what is wrong. Although you might not get anything with choosing the right you should feel proud because that means you have a good personality and it’s the thought that matters. No matter what choosing the right will always be  the right thing to do.

Duties and responsibilities:Optometric technicians work with optometrists to assist in carrying out eye examinations and treatments. Optometric technicians most frequently work in optometrists' offices, but they may also be employed in eye care clinics and other vision treatment facilities. They test patients' visual acuity, depth perception, pressure inside of the eye, color vision and pupil reflexes and from their they make appointments for them.

Demand or need for this profession: The job growth (2014-2024) has been 23%

Reflection: I don’t think i would like to be an optometry technician because the eye’s are one of an important feature in the body and i feel like i’d make mistakes and i wouldn’t want to hurt someone’s vision so therefore no i wouldn’t like to work in this profession.

What this quote is trying to say is that we must focus on what is good. We must do what is right and set example for those who haven’t committed into being a ctr person. You must spread the word about being a good person and leave all the things unsound which means not do it. Not mention it. It’s a must because everyday we should try harder to become a better us and learn from our mistakes . For example let’s say your friend is doing drugs and selling them throughout school and they pull you out and they ask you who is doing it. What will you do? You must do what is right and say the truth because that is the good thing to do. Informing positive things to others is an amazing things. Why not show people the good things and forget about all the bad stuff .

What this quote is trying to say is that .you won’t always win. You have to learn how to win and how to lose. This helps you grow up. By that i mean that you learn from experiences. Have you ever thought about the past, something you did wrong and been , “hmm if only i would have done that this wouldn’t had happened” Well that is exactly what i mean . We learn and everyone does mistakes. What he means is that let’s say you have a friend, he’s very smart but one day you both agree with something but all the others disagree and they start making fun of you but you both know you are right. Regardless of who tries to make you feel bad you should stick to your friend. Be loyal to friends, meaning don’t turn your back on them. What a beautiful thing having someone who is always going to be there regardless of the situation even if it’s bad, stay. If your friend is doing something wrong, be there advice them to do what is right, tell him what he is doing wrong and together do what is right.

Reflection: No i would not like to be this because it just doesn’t catch my attention. I respect and admire those who have this profession because they help a lot of people.

What does quote is trying to say is that who you are as a person matters the most. Being smart does matter, having manners matter but you must be a good person inside as well, meaning you have a good personality. Your character defines who we are as well as how we are. Our actions show others how we are. We always have a chance to give a first impression. We must try to give a good impression from the beginning. Giving a first impression doesn’t mean you have to dress to impress. What matters is what you say, how you act, and what you do and how you say or do stuff. You must never allow someone to bring you down. It is better to have both a good character and be very smart. You must try hard to get these but remember to always be yourself and don’t let anyone change who you are as a person.At the end the only thing that matters is who you were as a person. So choose the right.
