This quote is very true. In case you don’t know ctr refers to choosing the right. What happens when you choose the right? When choosing the right you will feel much better and be viewed as a good person. Wouldn’t that be lovely? Choosing the right will bring great blessing to your life and nothing will ever go wrong. You must always have a positive attitude and never give up. Doing what is right will lead you to success. If you think about you’d realize that those who have accomplished their goals do what is right and are those who are happy. For example let’s say you want to be a doctor, you have to study and try hard to get accepted into a good college. You must become independent and try hard to pass your classes and pursue the career you desire. As you choose the right you will have more open doors meaning more opportunities in life. You will look back and realize how far you’ve gone in life. The way you can know that you are doing the right thing is thinking twice before you do something. Ask yourself “how will this impact my life in a positive or negative way” “ and from there analyze your choice and do what you know is right.

Class evaluation

The things i liked about this class is that we would view new quotes everyday. I also liked how Mr.Haymore always motivated us and showed us that if you choose to choose the right you are capable of anything. The life planning goal journal was another thing that i liked about this class because i would write down my goals and work myself up until i accomplished them.

I don’t think this class needs to improve. Everything is under control and Mr.Haymore does a great job and i sure did learn a lot throughout my sophomore year here. One thing that should be done more often is checking the Ctr cards. I find that really fun.

The highlight for me in this class was the videos we would see in class after we viewed the quotes. Those videos really caught my attention and it’s a great way for a student to gain a better understanding of what the quote says.

In this class i think i did okay. I know i could have done better but i do deserve the great i received because i know i could have tried harder or always carry my life planning goal, i forgot it a few times. Other than that i always completed the tasks assigned.

Yes i am reading my life planning goals, sometimes i might forget but i make it up the following day as i check off what i have accomplished. This really has helped me to get my stuff done and be more organized.

I am committed to being a ctr person because this will always benefit me throughout life in a positive way. Choosing the right is always the right thing to do. I have goals set for myself and i’m looking forward to accomplishing them and i know i can do it if i don’t give up. Everything must be done the right way and if you fall you try again until you get it right. We must learn from our mistakes and think twice before we do something and do what is right at all times.

What this quote is trying to say that in order to do what is right you must decide whether you will be a ctr person or not. In case you don’t know , when becoming a ctr person you make a promise. Promise shouldn’t be broken. You promise to do what is right all the time. You should always think twice before doing something and never do bad things that you might end up regretting. Choosing the right is commitment but when you do so you will receive a lot of blessings in return. For example when taking a TEST always choose the right and don’t copy. Choosing the right is something you won’t ever regret.

Registered Nurse

Why did you choose this topic?

The reason why i chose this topic is because when i’m older i would like to become a registered nurse and then as i work as that i would try my best to master myself and study to become a Neurosurgeon.

Describe the topic in detail

Registered nurses assist physicians in providing treatment to patients suffering from various medical conditions. They may administer medication, monitor patient recovery and progress, and educate patients and their families on disease prevention and post-hospital treatment. In order to become a registered nurse you must get a bachelor’s degree and go to training. They win about $67,000 a year which isn’t that bad and i am looking forward to this career. When having an associate’s degree they have a better chance to earn a better pay. Employment of registered nurses is projected to grow 16 percent from 2014 to 2024.Registered nurses work in hospitals, physicians’ offices, home healthcare services, and nursing care facilities. Others work in correctional facilities or schools, or serve in the military.

What this quote is stating is that character is what is important because it brings peace to the world , the home, and you. There is nothing more beautiful than that. Knowing that everything respects each other. You have to treat to others how you want to be treated. Stress can be passed on and let’s say you get home from work or school and you get mad and argue with one of your friends because they didn’t complete their part on the project or didn’t do the estimates the boss want. You get home you are mad and start taking it out on others. How would you think people will feel? Now let’s say you get home and treat everyone with respect even if you are having a bad day. People will treat you the way you are being treated. Set the example and don’t give up. We can have peace in the world.

Yoga therapist

Duties and responsibilities: Yoga therapist help people with physical problems such as asthma, diabetes, or back pain. Not only that but they work with people who have emotional issues such as stress, anxiety and depression. This will help with relaxation and help the people prevent further problems. You start off by introducing easy yoga postures and then head to the complex ones depending on how much progress they’ve made. You will teach breathing and relaxation techniques and visualization  exercises. Yoga therapist are also required to give feedback and help give advice to how to maintain good health.

Education:You must  go to training school and from their ask for advice on how to do better.

Demand or need for this profession: This profession is very necessary because they help people relax their mind and feel better and what a better way to forget your problems instead of turning into alcoholic beverages or any drug.

Reflection: i wouldn’t want to be  a yoga therapist because the paying is really low and that makes it really hard to pay expenses and all. I would be interested in attending a class once i’m older, seems relaxing.

A rudder is  hinged vertically near the stern of a boat or ship for steering. Without the rudder a ship wouldn’t be able to advance and the ship would just remain there going nowhere but only to where the waves drag it. What this quote means is that you must set goals for yourself. A ship with a rudder gets to go anywhere but they must know where they are heading. So why not set goals, plan out what you want and the steps you must take to accomplish your goals. As i say , anything is possible if you keep on trying but you must set goals in order to reach your full potential. For example let’s say you want to become a registered nurse. There’s so many steps to that. You have to set your mind to what you want. This includes studying, memorizing, training and years of education. When you set these goals you will see that hard work pays off. Everything takes time and practice. You will reach your destination just how ships with rudders do. Never give up on what you want and write down your goals at all times.

Memorial Day weekend

On memorial day i went to work with my dad and i helped him clean the house he was working on. On friday I worked on my homework and on sunday we went to to shakeys to say our last goodbyes to my brother who is joining the U.S army . Yesterday before i left to work with my dad i hugged my brother one last time and after i got home from work i started working on my essay that i must turn in today. I also went running with my two dogs and little brother. I watched chivas v.s tigres on t.v  and sadly chivas won but it was a pretty good game. Most of my free time i went outside to play soccer with my neighbors or i was texting my friend. I also went to the nail salon to get a pedicure. My weekend was okay, i relaxed a little, better than being at school but it was still stressing because time goes by so fast and i have a lot of homework. Memorial day is an important day to honor those who have serve our country therefore i am thankful of them. i also saw my aunt again and my other aunt and uncle who came to visit from pomona. I Saw my favorite cousin who had scrapped himself due to falling down of his scooter.

This is indeed a very powerful quote because it states that forgiving is very important. Hating someone or simply feeling anger towards someone will not only affect you but also the person because it will change you. Forgiving is hard but sometimes we must do it to be able to feel better. Even if the person doesn’t deserve it , forgive them. Yes forgiving won’t change what happened but it will bring peace and happiness until your life and who wouldn’t want that, am i right?

It’s like taking a weight off you and you’ll find yourself in a better mood. It’s best to move on and learn from those who hurt you. Keeping hate inside will just lead to revenge and that will just make you as bad as them. Be the bigger person , forgive and move on. It won’t be easy but i know anyone can do it. Consider how forgiveness can lead you down the path of physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

What This quote is trying to inform us is that a lot of people dare each other to do negative things. These dare’s might seem “cool, or fun” but no , they will bring consequences to your life. Yeah , you might end up getting through the dare perfectly fine but if you keep on choosing the wrong and the dare will say, “you knew what i was when you picked me up”. Always think twice when doing something and don’t ever let anyone tell you what to do. There’s always going to be those people who care about you and those who don’t so don’t just do it to try and fit it in. For example, Rex D. Pinegar wrote a letter and shared his personal experience. Some people might think that doing dare’s might make them braver and better than others but that is absolutely incorrect. He shared that his friend dared him to run down the street when the car was near by to prove that he was faster, he did it and he faced consequences. He gained nothing but pain and regret but luckily he ended up being okay. This shows us that we must not do what others say just to look better, you’ll just end looking like a fool and it’s important to learn from your mistakes. Daring isn’t a bad thing , you can always dare others to do right things such as choosing the right, and making other positive choices in their life.

Would you do it? If your answer is no then there’s an issue and you have to learn how to do the right. Give a try, choose to do the right and you’ll see the blessing that will come to you. For example let’s say your friends invite you to party . They convince you so you go and then once you get there everyone is smoking and drinking and they try to pursue you and you say no , they start calling you names because you are the only one who isn’t drinking. That is a huge accomplishment for any person. This shows me that anything can be possible if i choose the right goals and try my best. When you want something you must give it your all and never give up. When you are doing the right all the other right things come to you, everything gets easier when you do stuff with honesty and try and try until you accomplish what you want. It’s not easy to obtain things and it’s hard but just know that hard work always pays off, it will be worth it. Always pursue happiness and success by doing what you love and choose the right things. For example if you have a test and you study hard you sure will get a good grade but if you don't study and see the test you will be lost and get a low score.

Reflection: These are wise words from a wise man who followed his dreams and never gave up and won a grammy. These are tips that will help us succeed in life. They can lead us to happiness because it is important to always follow our heart and do what we love . For instance, many people believe that getting a career that pays a lot will make them happy so they chase after the money but what is important is to do what you’re passionate about because that will make you be dedicated to your profession. Helping others is also important because if you’re a good person to someone they’ll be good so always treat others how you want to be treated . Never give up on what you want because anything is possible if you keep on trying. Always set goals for yourself and you’ll see how slowly you’ll accomplish them and you’ll feel good with yourself. In  the video we saw that we have feelings and values. We saw the dog drowning and the person drowning as well. Who would you save? You should go with what is right not just for what you feel. Always work hard on having good values. As they say, what goes around comes around so treat others how you want to be treated. In this case it’s stick with your values because it represents you. Whenever you find yourself making a decision always make sure you always think twice before you act or say something. Always ask yourself , would i like it if people chose this? How would i feel? In this quote he is saying he could escape from jail if he didn’t promise to stay but if they were to draw a line and he promised to not cross he wouldn’t. This quote is very strong because it shows that  giving your word is something you must do because once you say i promise, i’ll do it there is no going back. For example let’s say you have a project to do and your friend didn’t do anything but you want to be nice and you agree that he’ll come and present and he promises you he will and he apologizes for not helping. Once the day comes you are ready to present and you are waiting for him but then they call you up to  go present but he isn’t there so you have to do it all on your own. How would you feel? Would you trust the person the same? Keeping your word is very important.

Reflection: Overall what these are rules indians have set for their own and they must follow them. These aren’t just commandments indians should go by but also everyone else because all these commandments help a human being become a better person. These things help people get along and treat each other with respect and never solve anything aggressively. This is possible and if you give them a try you’ll see how everyone will treat you how you want to be treated. Wouldn’t you want to feel safe and around people who are good ? For example let’s say say curch. Every church introduces it’s rules and we must follow them and set an example to others and demonstrate that we can be good . Or when you’re home or with friends you feel comfortable and safe with them but it’s all because you know how to behave and be a good person. These are great ways to start being a good person.
