“Presidents Day”
  1. What is Presidents Day?
Presidents’ Day is an American holiday celebrated on the third Monday in February. Originally established in 1885 in recognition of President George Washington, it is still officially called “Washington’s Birthday” by the federal government. This is not only to honor them but also honor and recognized all of the presidents that have serve our country.

Every third Monday in February. This year it will be on the February 20
  1. What are several ways to show honor and respect on Presidents Day?
We can remember both Abraham Lincoln and George Washington since the holiday mostly focuses on them two. You can talk about them and educate those who don’t know about the holiday. Don’t talk bad about them.
  1. How can you show honor and respect on President’s Day?
We can thank the president or we can send flowers to their grave or also have a moment of silence.
