Emergency Medical Technician

Duties and responsibilities: The duties of an Emergency medical technician are to rush to rush to the scene of crisis and perform basic life saving techniques. This includes burn management, patient assessment, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and extrication of patients from dangerous situations.

Salary: $31,700

Education: In order to become an emergency medical technician you must have a certified, approved EMT level.

Demand or need for this profession: This professions has grown from 2014 and is expected to continue growing until 2024 at about 24% growth.

Reflection: No i would not like to be an emergency medical technician because you have to be quick and have everything memorized in order to be able to help the injured patient and it just isn’t something that i want to do .
