Duties and responsibilities: Chiropractors are health care providers who work with patients that are dealing with problems related to bones, muscles, ligaments and tendons. They usually work either in private practice or in health care clinics. They usually provide musculoskeletal therapy which involves adjusting their patient’s spinal column and other joints by hand. Additional diagnostic tests are provided if the patient needs x-rays or has to evaluate its posture.

Demand for this profession: As a consumer the demand for alternative health care increases. Chiropractors is expected to increase 28% between 2008-2018 which is much faster than the average for all occupations. Therefore the employment level will grow over the years.
