Duties and responsibilities:Ophthalmology is the branch of medicine that deals with the anatomy, physiology and diseases of the eyeball. An ophthalmologist is a specialist in medical and surgical eye problems. Ophthalmologists also examine eyes and prescribe contact lenses and glasses. They are known as  'eye doctors'.
Salary:$256,000
Education: In order to become an ophthalmologist, students typically complete a bachelor's program, a 4-year Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program and a 3-year ophthalmology residency in a hospital.
Demand or need for this profession: The demand is high because a lot of people need to see these professionals in order to see and some rather have surgery than wear glasses.
Reflection: Yes i feel like i would be interested in this because it seems interesting and the eyes are an important part of a body. Also they pay is very good.
