A rudder is  hinged vertically near the stern of a boat or ship for steering. Without the rudder a ship wouldn’t be able to advance and the ship would just remain there going nowhere but only to where the waves drag it. What this quote means is that you must set goals for yourself. A ship with a rudder gets to go anywhere but they must know where they are heading. So why not set goals, plan out what you want and the steps you must take to accomplish your goals. As i say , anything is possible if you keep on trying but you must set goals in order to reach your full potential. For example let’s say you want to become a registered nurse. There’s so many steps to that. You have to set your mind to what you want. This includes studying, memorizing, training and years of education. When you set these goals you will see that hard work pays off. Everything takes time and practice. You will reach your destination just how ships with rudders do. Never give up on what you want and write down your goals at all times.

Memorial Day weekend

On memorial day i went to work with my dad and i helped him clean the house he was working on. On friday I worked on my homework and on sunday we went to to shakeys to say our last goodbyes to my brother who is joining the U.S army . Yesterday before i left to work with my dad i hugged my brother one last time and after i got home from work i started working on my essay that i must turn in today. I also went running with my two dogs and little brother. I watched chivas v.s tigres on t.v  and sadly chivas won but it was a pretty good game. Most of my free time i went outside to play soccer with my neighbors or i was texting my friend. I also went to the nail salon to get a pedicure. My weekend was okay, i relaxed a little, better than being at school but it was still stressing because time goes by so fast and i have a lot of homework. Memorial day is an important day to honor those who have serve our country therefore i am thankful of them. i also saw my aunt again and my other aunt and uncle who came to visit from pomona. I Saw my favorite cousin who had scrapped himself due to falling down of his scooter.

Forgive;to stop feeling angry or resentful toward someone for an offense, flaw or mistake

This is indeed a very powerful quote because it states that forgiving is very important. Hating someone or simply feeling anger towards someone will not only affect you but also the person because it will change you. Forgiving is hard but sometimes we must do it to be able to feel better. Even if the person doesn’t deserve it , forgive them. Yes forgiving won’t change what happened but it will bring peace and happiness until your life and who wouldn’t want that, am i right?

It’s like taking a weight off you and you’ll find yourself in a better mood. It’s best to move on and learn from those who hurt you. Keeping hate inside will just lead to revenge and that will just make you as bad as them. Be the bigger person , forgive and move on. It won’t be easy but i know anyone can do it. Consider how forgiveness can lead you down the path of physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

What This quote is trying to inform us is that a lot of people dare each other to do negative things. These dare’s might seem “cool, or fun” but no , they will bring consequences to your life. Yeah , you might end up getting through the dare perfectly fine but if you keep on choosing the wrong and the dare will say, “you knew what i was when you picked me up”. Always think twice when doing something and don’t ever let anyone tell you what to do. There’s always going to be those people who care about you and those who don’t so don’t just do it to try and fit it in. For example, Rex D. Pinegar wrote a letter and shared his personal experience. Some people might think that doing dare’s might make them braver and better than others but that is absolutely incorrect. He shared that his friend dared him to run down the street when the car was near by to prove that he was faster, he did it and he faced consequences. He gained nothing but pain and regret but luckily he ended up being okay. This shows us that we must not do what others say just to look better, you’ll just end looking like a fool and it’s important to learn from your mistakes. Daring isn’t a bad thing , you can always dare others to do right things such as choosing the right, and making other positive choices in their life.

What this quote referring to is that you should always do what is right, always. When reading this question ask yourself, “ what if i had to stand alone but i was the only one doing what is right?”

Would you do it? If your answer is no then there’s an issue and you have to learn how to do the right. Give a try, choose to do the right and you’ll see the blessing that will come to you. For example let’s say your friends invite you to party . They convince you so you go and then once you get there everyone is smoking and drinking and they try to pursue you and you say no , they start calling you names because you are the only one who isn’t drinking. You chose the right and walked away, you weren’t afraid of standing alone. But you kept your promise, never let others control you.

This quote was written by a football player that tried his best and his effort paid off.He was recognized and he is now one of the people in the hall of fame. That is a huge accomplishment for any person. This shows me that anything can be possible if i choose the right goals and try my best. When you want something you must give it your all and never give up. When you are doing the right all the other right things come to you, everything gets easier when you do stuff with honesty and try and try until you accomplish what you want. It’s not easy to obtain things and it’s hard but just know that hard work always pays off, it will be worth it. Always pursue happiness and success by doing what you love and choose the right things. For example if you have a test and you study hard you sure will get a good grade but if you don't study and see the test you will be lost and get a low score.
