Class evaluation
The things i liked about this class was when Mr.haymore would check up on the ctr cards, and would give us candy if we had it. I also liked how for every student success statement he would show us  a video that would represent the quote.

What i disliked about this class was that we can't really talk but other than that everything was great.

I don't think anything has to be improved.

The highlight in this class is being a ctr person because it's written all over the classroom and the teacher reminds us to choose the right.

I believe that i did okay, i would get my work done but i think i can do better and i'm glad i kept my A.

Yes i read my life planning goals and report about it on my blogger.

Yes i'm committed to being a ctr person because i want to succeed in life.

Honesty,you better believe it video

In this short video we saw how a young girl tried to do a ctw act by cheating during a test. She asked her friend for the test answers so she can get a good score. Her friend is a ctw person, she thought about it and knew that giving her the answers wasn’t right because she wasn’t trying and it wasn’t fair because cheating isn’t right. Cheating also becomes a habit, once you cheat you decide you want to do so again just to get a good score. There were also a group of medical students who were taking a medical test in order to graduate. Two of the students were honest and studied hard to do great. The others started pulling out cheating notes so they can do good. One of the two honest guy stood up and told them that if he sees one cheating that he’d turn them in. He did what was right because they both knew they couldn’t compete with cheaters. Once they did things with honesty and not cheating they later realized that most of them passed and graduated.

“When you tell one lie it leads to another”
Paul Hatch
-ALWAYS SPEAK THE TRUTH

What this quote means is that if you tell one lie you will begin to lie even more to cover up that lie. Once you lie , lying becomes a habit and it’s something you begin to do because you want an easy way out of a problem. You should always be honest no matter what. When you are honest people respect you and trust you and there’s a chance you’ll be forgiven. Sometimes when you are honest and even if you regret what you did some people won’t forgive you but that shouldn’t make you want to lie because you know you did what was right by confessing. Let’s say you go inside a store and steal a bag of chips, soda, and candy bars and the security stops you to check you. You don’t know what to do so you deny it and that is another lie and they check you and you say you don’t know how they got there. It all leads to more lies because the store has proof of you stealing but you still deny. I mean who would like to be in more trouble? You should be honest and say yes it was me and i’m sorry i was just hungry, i won’t do it again. ALways choose the right and don’t lie about anything it won’t take you anywhere. Sooner or later you’ll get caught.

Elder Patrick Kearon “the sting of the scorpion”
This story has to do with choosing the right. It shows that if you do wrong you receive bad consequences. In this story we learn about Patrick’s experience. He was out in the desert camping with his family. He was told that he shouldn’t go around without his shoes. He decided to go walk around with sandals but he knew that wasn’t the right choice. Even the right choice crossed his mind which was wearing shoes but he decided to ignore it. As he was walking he suddenly felt a sting. When he saw down to the floor, there was the black scorpion that bit him. He couldn’t take the pain nor walk back to where his parents were. He scram as loud as he could until his father heard his voice. Once the father heard him , both his mom and dad rushed to go get him and hurried and drove to the nearest hospital which was more than 2 hours away. Once they got there they were relieved, he was taken care off and glad their son was okay. This is why you should always do what is right and listen to your parents.

“Always do right”
-Mark Twain
This quote is very accurate and true. You should always do what is right because you’ll feel great about yourself. I mean who likes worrying and constantly question their choices because they know it’s wrong? Nobody likes that, that’s why if you do what is right you’ll feel good, happy and people will take you seriously. Choosing the right makes you a good person. Choosing the right decisions will bring good things to you such as great blessings. A lot of people will love to be treated with respect and that is always why you should be honest and treat others how you want to be treated. Being honest means confessing to your mistakes and that is an action of ctr people. Everyone makes mistakes but a lot of people think that lying doesn’t matter. Each lie leads to another and then people aren’t taken seriously. You could repent but it will take a lot to win people’s trust. That is why you should be a ctr person from the beginning. Let’s say you find a phone on the floor. You don’t have a phone so you feel really lucky but then you see a girl crying and asking people around if they’ve seen her phone. You know that it’s not right to keep it. You go up to her and tell her “ here it is i found it in the floor” Then she says thank you and that makes you feel happy. So you see you chose the right, the girl got happy and in return you feel great because you chose the right.

Student success statement
“In bad company”
“It’s better to be alone than to be in bad company”

This quote is very true because now in days a lot of people think that having good reputations such as being popular and all matters. It’s sad to see that many teens allow others to force them to doing drugs and other bad actions. But it’s rally not the other person’s fault because we have the choice of saying no or simply avoiding the crowds that aren’t making us a better person. A lot of people are also afraid of being alone and let me tell you it does not matter being alone. You should never let others negative opinions get to you. Friends come and go so you can either choose the right from the beginning or go along with your bad friends and learn your lesson the hard way. WHen you enter school you should always try to hang out with the right crowds. People who will help you succeed and in a safe, healthy group of people. You should not be ashamed of being alone, in fact you should feel proud that you are doing what’s right and safe unlike those who hang out with a group of people drinking, smoking and all that.
