What this quote is trying to say is that you should never do something to get something out of it. Sometimes people do something as i call a selfish act where they do something to either win or lose. They pretty much expect something in return of their actions. Doing what is right is what matters. It makes you feel good about yourself and it makes people see you as a good person. Doing what is right. Fair and honorable makes you a ctr person.You should always be honest and speak the truth. Everyone should be fair and honorable no matter what. Doing those three things will take you far in life.

Reflection: What this quote is trying to say is that you should never try to be like the others. Everyone has their own personality and we should always try to be better. When we are better we create a better name for ourselves and we will be seen as a great example. I mean who wouldn’t  like or want to be recognized by others. You should always be honest because honesty is very important if you want to be taken seriously. Don’t just ever try to satisfy people with what they expect from you. Some people judge others by the way they look and you should always try to do better and to show them also that you should never judge anyone or expect less from them. You should never excuse yourself from not accomplishing something. For example i play soccer and let’s say i miss weeks of practice and then i come back but i can’t catch up to my team mates due to them improving and running faster while i was gone. When my coach asks what happened to me and why i’m not doing so i will i use excuses to make myself look good. That shouldn’t be done. That’s choosing the wrong because if i have to work harder, no excuses because being in the team is a priority. Always be responsible and try your hardest.

What is veterans day?

• Veterans day is a public holiday held on the anniversary of the end of World War I (November 11) to honor US veterans and victims of all wars. It celebrated every year by the U.S. in memory for those who lost their lives.

• It is celebrated on November 11 every year.

What is the purpose of veterans day?

• The purpose is to honor the U.S veterans and victims that have died during all wars.

Ways to show honor and respect on veterans day

• Say thank you to those who go to war
• Donate (care packages)
• Place flowers and flags on soldiers grave
• Proudly display your american flag
• Volunteer

I find it interesting that we as students get the day off for veterans day. Also how we have pride for our country and i love it.

Reflection: Veterans is an important day for me because i respect those who fight for our country. They risk their life and for that i admire them. Some leave their families behind and sadly lose their life’s. They deserve this holiday for all their hard work.

Reflection: This quote by W. clement stone is very important because like he said , these are the 3 magic keys into living your life with integrity. What is integrity? Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. Don’t ever be afraid of saying no when you know it’s the right thing to do. Even if you’re the only one choosing the right be proud of yourself for setting a great example and avoid those ignorants who will just end up bad. You should always have the courage to stand up for what you know is right. Always be honest and say no to drugs, alcoholic beverages, or other stuff that might harm you in many negative ways. An example for “have courage to say no” is , let’s say you are at a party and some students sneak in alcoholic beverages and weed. Your friend joins them and they offer you some . When you are in that situation you realize that it’s wrong and you say “NO” and leave . That is indeed having courage to say no. To “have courage to face the truth” means always being honest, no matter what. Let’s say that the teachers smelled the weed and started questioning what was going on. When you come out a teacher stops you and asks you who brought it. You’re nervous but you decide to confess and have the courage to say the truth. “Have the courage to do the right thing because it is right”  means to always do what’s right. Doing the right thing will not only make others see what a great example you are and will also make you feel so much better about yourself.

Reflection: what this quote is trying to say is that if you do bad you’ll get bad and if you do good you’ll receive great things. This quote definitely speaks to a lot of people. In the video we just saw it shows how the guy hung out with bad influences. He would come home very late or sometimes he just wouldn’t arrive for a week or so and that worried his father. He would give up whenever a problem or something would be hard . This led him to not completing assignments . He then realized that he had to stop being a ctw person and make the choice of becoming a ctr person because he wanted to graduate and receive his high school diploma. Not only did he make his dad proud but he also realized that anything is possible with a bit of effort and that great choices will bring you great blessings. This is an example of how making the right choices, hanging out with the right crowd makes you a wise and better person. This guy realized that being with bad people and not caring was going to cause him not to graduate and so he chose the right. Anything is possible, you just have to keep on trying and never give up no matter how hard the situation is. If you have a problem or don’t understand ask people that care about your well being to help you or give you advice. Stay away from people that don’t care , and all the bad examples that can lead you to failure.

The Gainesville Tornadoes

What happened in this video was that two students decided that they wanted people to support the tornadoes because they didn’t want everyone cheering for them. They wanted to support them since the tornadoes have the opportunity to get out of jail to play basketball due to their positive behavior. What an amazing/ thoughtful thing of the two young men in vanguard . It was something that the tornado players will always remember. They thanked all their fans. They weren’t expecting any. The tornadoes are a juvenile basketball team that plays against private schools. At the end, it didn’t matter who had one. They were all happy and that is all that matters. The vanguard guy’s choose the right and did something right and i know that is a choice they’ll always be happy and proud of.

What this quote is trying to say is that doing good will lead you to great things. By recreation it is referring to a good you. You’re pretty much giving yourself a good name for us. We are to always choose the right and always try to make ourselves into a better person and make positive choices in our lives. We recreate ourselves by doing the right thing once we fail for the first time. Like they say, you should always treat others how you want to be treated. Whenever you do something good, you will always feel good. Don’t ever be a follower. Lead yourself into doing good and be a great example for others. Some of the things you can do are obeying to those who want the best for you, clean , study, and simply think positive. Just choose the right and you’ll receive great things in life.
